CalculatorMate (calculatormate.com.au) is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data. We comply with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) contained in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
2. Information We Collect
We do not collect personal information. Our calculators run entirely in your browser. The numbers you enter into calculators are processed locally on your device and are never sent to our servers or stored anywhere.
We do collect anonymous usage data through the following services:
- Google Analytics 4 — collects anonymous browsing data including pages visited, time spent, device type, and general geographic location (country/city level). No personally identifiable information is collected.
- Server logs — our web server records IP addresses, browser types, and pages requested for security and performance monitoring. These logs are retained for 30 days and then deleted.
3. Cookies
We use cookies for the following purposes:
- Google Analytics cookies (_ga, _gid) — used to distinguish unique visitors and track sessions. These are first-party cookies set by Google Analytics.
- Amazon affiliate cookies — when you click an affiliate link to Amazon.com.au, Amazon sets cookies on their domain to track the referral for commission purposes.
We do not use cookies for advertising targeting, user profiling, or tracking across other websites.
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:

Our website is served over HTTPS (TLS encryption). We do not store any user data, calculator inputs, or personal information on our servers. All calculations are performed client-side in your browser.

Our website is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children.
